Atlas Balancing
We are living in exciting times where more and more new technologies, artistic expressions, energy resources and communication methods are arriving for us to apply, enjoy and play with to enhance our lives. As part of this cornucopia of offerings, are new healing methodologies to help us with our bodies so that we may live longer, stronger and healthier lives.
Atlas Balancing is such a one; a new protocol that brings homeostasis to the body. |
It is based on the correct re-positioning of the Atlas bone under the head. The atlas is also properly aligned on the axis which is critical for optimal health and vitality and it may be the hidden cause of many chronic pain-related conditions. This incorrect positioning, which many of us have, may cause pressure on the spinal column (which runs through the middle of it), and this continuous pressure could lead to symptoms and conditions that cause pain and dysfunction in many areas of our bodies, including the head. Our nerves are connected from our brain to the tips of our fingers and toes. Think about all the areas that could be affected by a poorly functioning nervous system. It is crucial to have a communication system that works efficiently.
We have all read or seen pictures of the God Atlas carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.; and that is literally what the Atlas bone is doing in our body. It carries our head, which weighs around 10 pounds and connects it to the spinal column and to the rest of our body. If that is rotated and not seated properly, you can imagine how precarious and vulnerable our head and structural alignment would be and how much the body would try to compensate for this misalignment. The Atlas, which is the first bone of your cervical spine in your neck, is responsible for the balance of your entire body.
As we know, our brain is like a master computer and is constantly sending messages at rapid speed throughout our body. These messages run through the Atlas via the spinal column and nervous system. So if the Atlas is turned, then the messages are being stifled and not fully delivered. The body has been waiting for this last piece to be positioned properly all its life…the body can, at last, function in the powerful, flexible, resilient way it was designed.
The discovery of Atlas Balancing, an extremely gentle technique using very light touch and energetic work reminds the body to start self-healing which brings lasting changes in your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual alignments.
